The Ultrasound

We had an ultrasound at 20 weeks. It lasted 45 minutes. The baby looked great, every finger and every toe was accounted for. At the end came the sex check. This was what we had been waiting for. Okay we're ready. Will we get out the girl clothes or the boy clothes? Ready, Doc. Go ahead. Girl or boy? Let us know. What's that? The baby isn't cooperating? The legs are crossed...and linked at the ankles. Bummer! Needless to say, there would be no reveal at this appointment. No picture either. They were out of printer tape. Double bummer!

At my 24 week appointment my doctor did a quick ultrasound to see if she could tell the sex. Well, she never got the money shot, but at least this time we got a picture. So, here it is...a frontal face shot at 24 weeks. Enjoy. :)

Maybe it's all my radar training in the Air Force, but I can see that face clear as day! She's looking right at us! It looks like a girl's face to me!
